Honestly shit like McKayla’s dad dying after the multiple nightmares that family has already been through is exactly why I don’t believe there is any type of ‘plan’ for any of us. Nothing and No One would plan for that much pain because there’s just no justification for it (and if I’m wrong and there’s some force out there planning pain for all of us, then that’s fucking awful and I choose not to believe in that either). Pain is just pain, our suffering is not planned so that we ‘learn a lesson’, and we just Are.
